For Life FoundationYour donation to SCID, Angels for Life Foundation supports our mission of increasing awareness, providing a safe environment for families to connect, granting needed scholarships, and providing parent and family education for those affected by Severe Combined Immune Deficiency.
Our scholarship programs include 3 key components: an Educational Scholarship for SCID patients seeking higher education, a Travel Scholarship for SCID families traveling out of area for specific educational events or medical need, and the Family Scholarship designed to ease some of the financial burden related to treatment for SCID.
Donations may be designated to any scholarship fund directly, or to the general fund which maintains our family services providing connection and education to families.
Online Donations
Online donations are handled through Network For Good OR PayPal. You will immediately receive an email acknowledgment of your contribution to SCID Angels along with a receipt for your records. Both methods allow you to choose a one time donation or a monthly donation plan. We encourage you to choose a monthly plan. By donating monthly, you can budget your annual giving.
100% of all donations made through Network For Good go to SCID Angels for Life. There is no processing fee to use this platform. All donations made through PayPal will incur a small processing fee, meaning SCID Angels receives approximately 97% of the donation that is being made and PayPal receives the other 2.9%. Either method is accepted and it’s truly up to the donor which method is preferred.

Work Place Giving
Many companies will allow you to make gifts that are automatically deducted from your paycheck if you choose SCID Angels for Life as your designated charity through a United Way campaign or another workplace giving campaign. Some companies will even double your donations with a matching donation of their own. Please look into this option when considering the best way to donate to SCID Angels as you may be able to make twice as much impact.
SCID Angels is already registered with United Way, Cyber Grants, Benevity and Frontstream. If your employer uses a different company to process their workplace giving program, please ask your HR department or Office Manager to add SCID, Angels for Life Foundation. Our Federal Tax ID number is 26-2301379. Most companies will contact us for verification information in order to process your donation.
