SCID Newborn Screening now in 42 states and Puerto Rico
On April 1, 2016 Maryland began screening for SCID, on May 1, 2016 Kentucky started, on June 2016 Georgia officially began screening and on July 1, 2016 North Dakota began screening all babies for SCID
Alaska and Vermont began screening for SCID on July 1, 2016
States currently screening: Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, District of Columbia, Navajo Nation, Puerto Rico, and Ontario Canada
