Aisha Chaudhary Educational Scholarship Program

SCID, Angels for Life Foundation is pleased to announce the Aisha Chaudhary SCID Scholarship fund for undergraduate students, graduate students or those attending a trade school in the US who are diagnosed with Severe Combined Immune Deficiency (SCID).  The scholarships are available to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors.  This fund was created from generous donations made to SCID Angels for Life Foundation in memory of eighteen-year-old Aisha Chaudhary, who died from complications of SCID in 2015.

Ray Ballard TRAVEL Scholarship

SCID Angels is proud to offer the Ray Ballard Travel Scholarship Program for SCID patients or SCID families wishing to attend a SCID meeting or event in the U.S.  Ray was 25 years old when he lost his courageous battle in 2019 to Severe Combined Immune Deficiency.  Those who had the honor of meeting Ray know that he was made of hope, inspiration, resiliency and an unforgettable strength.  SCID provided many challenges for Ray, especially during the past three years, but he never let that stop him from truly living.

SCID Angels Family Scholarship

SCID Angels for Life is happy to offer SCID Family Scholarships to affected families who are currently going through treatment for Severe Combined Immune Deficiency. We understand the financial burden that is being placed on families when they're given the diagnosis of SCID. Often it means abruptly having to take a leave of absence from work so you can care for your SCID child. For families with other children, they're often asked to separate the siblings in an effort to keep the SCID child isolated and protected. Not only is this a financial hardship but it also takes an incredible emotional toll on the family unit.
